Wisconsin's public school open enrollment program allows parents and guardians to apply to send their children to any public school district in Wisconsin during the 2026-27 school year.
The open enrollment application period for the 2026-27 school year is February 2 - April 30, 2026. The application period closes at 4:00 PM on April 30, 2026.To apply after the Open Enrollment Period, parents can complete the Alternative Open Enrollment application beginning on July 1, 2026.
